Any other fans out there? New video today. I’ve loved these guys since they first hit the scene. Love them or hate them, you can’t deny that they are pushing the limits of whatever genre they might fall into.

I remember early on an interviewer asked: ‘Die Antwoord’ means ‘the answer’ in English- the answer to what?

Not my style of music at all and yet... I can’t stop listening. I’ve had this with them for years. I cannot explain. I’ve heard the above song on the radio (yes!) multiple times already, hadn’t seen the video before though.

Been a fan since stumbling upon the first album sometime between its original release and the U.S. re-release, whereupon their success here caught me by surprise...a lifetime of listening to underground and/or weird hip-hop (among much else) and I still can never quite articulate why I like these clowns/artists so much. My son is a big fan now too.

They’re one of the most fascinating bands ever. I’ve never bought any of their music, but I can watch their videos over and over again. It’s like a performance art project that somehow went out of control.

As someone who prides themselves on weird and unusual tastes, I just can’t quite get into them as a regular fan. That said, I will check out new music, videos, etc. Always fascinating.

I don't ever listen to them much, but I do poke around their first album sometimes. It definitely intrigues me, it's just rare that I enjoy myself listening to it. I have a friend who loves them, she went to their concert, bought a shirt, the whole 9 yards

I can’t explain why I like them, but they’re just super entertaining. It’s pretty bonkers seeing an act like them who belong “underground” hit the “mainstream” and fill up stadiums for their concerts.

I should add, I like RiFF RaFF too. To me, he’s like the T.S. Eliot of rap. Nobody knows what he’s talking about but he’s a genius. And he’s one of the few current artists who freestyled OFF THE DOME on Hot 97. Even my boy Lil’ Dicky came in there with some canned lines.

Not my thing, but I find it strangely compelling. I binge on them occasionally
